2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, cooked & diced 1 tsp Onion Powder 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Paprika 8 ounces Orzo Pasta 2 Celery Stalks, finely diced 2 Carrots, finely diced ½ Yellow Onion, finely diced 5 tbsp Butter 2 tbsp Olive Oil 2 cups Chicken Broth ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream 1 tsp Chicken Boullion Powder ⅓ cup All Purpose Flour
Cook orzo per package instructions. Season chicken with spices, cook to 165°F, dice. In skillet, melt butter and olive oil, sauté veggies 5-7 min. Add flour, whisk into roux, cook 2-3 min. Gradually add broth, bouillon, cream; whisk until thick. Add chicken and simmer, stir in orzo, serve warm.
Use rotisserie chicken for a shortcut. Frozen veggies are fine, cook until soft. Adjust cream for desired sauce consistency.
