Creamy Ranch Chicken is an easy skillet meal featuring tender chicken and a zesty, creamy Ranch sauce. Serve with vegetables or baked potatoes for a complete meal.

Ingredients

Scale

2 large boneless/skinless chicken breasts

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons melted butter

12 tablespoons olive oil

10.5 oz. cream of chicken soup

1 ½ cups milk

1 cup sour cream at room temp

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 oz. packet Ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

1. Slice the chicken into 2-3 thinner slices, pound to ½ inch thickness if needed.

2. Pat chicken dry and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Brush with melted butter.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

4. Combine cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, onion powder, and Ranch seasoning in the skillet. Stir to combine.

5. Reduce sauce over medium heat for 5 minutes. Return chicken, spoon sauce on top.

6. Partially cover and cook 10 minutes to let chicken absorb flavors. Serve warm.

Notes

Use Ranch seasoning mix, not dip mix.

Add frozen vegetables if desired, cook thoroughly.

For smaller chicken breasts, use 3-4 instead of 2.

Optional toppings: crispy bacon, shredded cheese, chopped herbs.

Store in airtight containers: 3 days refrigerated or up to 3 months frozen.
