CHICKEN:

2 lbs. organic chicken breasts

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2 tsps On Everything All-Purpose Blend

1 teaspoon smoked paprika, optional

1 teaspoon sea salt

HOMEMADE HOT HONEY SAUCE:

6 Tbsps unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup organic raw honey

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon chili powder

Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

1. Mix chicken with olive oil, salt, all-purpose blend, and smoked paprika until coated.

2. Make 1-inch slits across each chicken breast.

3. Optional: Marinate in fridge for 3 hours or overnight.

4. Melt butter in skillet, sauté garlic 1-2 minutes.

5. Add honey, cayenne, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and salt; stir until smooth.

6. Preheat oven to 400°F, line baking sheet.

7. Arrange chicken, spoon half the sauce over each piece.

8. Bake 30-35 minutes until cooked through.

9. Remove, spoon remaining sauce over chicken, serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in refrigerator for 3-4 days; reheat in oven.

Ingredients can be prepped in advance for meal prep.

Adjust spiciness to taste by reducing cayenne or red pepper flakes.

Chicken thighs, tenderloins, or drumsticks can be used.

All-purpose blend: 1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp thyme, 1 tsp parsley.
