5 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup beef broth

1/3 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

10 oz linguine

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

4 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Stir in soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

5. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the skillet.

6. Simmer until the sauce thickens.

7. Add cooked linguine and toss to coat evenly.

8. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

9. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
